Projects

Projects exploring art, education and public discourse

We develop and participate in projects that bring together artistic practice, education and social engagement. Through European collaborations and local initiatives, we explore how storytelling, creativity and participatory methods can open space for dialogue, inclusion and critical reflection in contemporary society.

SOUND OF INCLUSION

Music-Based Tools in Youth Work

Memento Mortis participates in Sound of Inclusion, an Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project (KA153-YOU). The project explores how music can be used as a tool for inclusion, participation and wellbeing in youth work.

Its main activity is an 8-day international Training Course, taking place in Pinarella di Cervia, Italy, from 28 May to 6 June 2026. Memento Mortis will take part with a team of three youth workers from Greece.

The project brings together organisations from nine European countries: Italy, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Slovenia, Spain, Poland and Portugal.

Through practical workshops, outdoor activities and intercultural exchange, participants explore how music, sound and movement can support non-formal education and social inclusion. The programme also introduces simple digital tools and encourages collaborative learning and reflection.

Following the training, participants will contribute to the development of a shared toolkit, including methods and ideas that can be adapted and used in different local contexts.
