Pushing Boundaries

Behind Memento Mortis

Our Mission

At Memento Mortis, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of contemporary and experimental art while exploring its role in society.
Our work moves at the intersection of artistic expression, storytelling and social engagement. Through postdramatic theatre, performance, film and digital practices, we explore themes of identity, memory, representation and the narratives that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
We believe that art is not only a form of expression, but also a space for dialogue, reflection and participation. Our projects create environments where artists, participants and audiences can engage with questions around inclusion, equality, public discourse and the complexities of contemporary life.
We design immersive and multi-dimensional experiences that challenge conventional narratives and invite people to think, respond and connect. Through performances, workshops and participatory processes, we aim to foster critical thinking, creative expression and meaningful exchange.
As a collective, we are driven by innovation, collaboration and inclusivity, offering a platform where diverse voices and perspectives can come together — not only to shape artistic expression, but also to contribute to wider social conversations.

Core Values

Guiding Principles that Shape Us

Innovation

We embrace innovation as a way to explore new forms of artistic expression and new ways of engaging with society. We seek approaches that connect creativity with reflection, dialogue and participation.

Collaboration

We believe in the power of collaboration, bringing together artists, communities and participants. Through shared processes, we create spaces where diverse perspectives can meet, interact and shape meaningful collective experiences.

Authenticity

At the heart of our work lies authenticity. We create narratives and performances rooted in real experiences, emotions and questions, allowing space for honest expression and deeper connection.

Participation

We value active participation and engagement. Our work invites people not only to observe, but to take part, express themselves and become part of the creative and reflective process.

Inclusion

We are committed to inclusion and respect for diversity. We aim to create environments where different voices, identities and experiences are welcomed and can be heard.
